Carolyn Carter, ATP

Working in the tax field since earning her Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Florida in 1981, Carolyn has experience working with a broad spectrum of clients and unique tax situations. She is committed to helping clients protect their income.

Carolyn understands that most people, especially family-owned businesses, don't enjoy dealing with the complexities of income and payroll tax compliance. Using her knowledge, experience and personal attention, she proactively helps clients make smart choices and avoid the consequences of mistakes. Carolyn maintains direct communication with clients throughout the year via personal meetings, our company website and newsletter, and through public speaking presentations.

Carolyn has achieved the professional designation of Accredited Tax Preparer® through the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation (ACAT). This credential recognizes practitioners who demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the existing tax code, agree to earn 72 hours of continuing professional education every three years and to adhere to ACAT's code of ethics. Carolyn is an officer for the Freedom Chapter of the Florida Society of Accountants and a member of the National Society of Accountants. She serves as an ambassador for Pasco Chamber of Commerce and is involved in many civic and charitable organizations.

Lynn Mailhot, Senior Accountant

Lynn Mailhot earned her Bachelor's degree from Central Connecticut State University. Since 1988, her diverse career experience includes work with both private and public accounting firms. Lynn has been a valuable asset to the Trademark Capital team since 2005.

Lynn works with clients in need of comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting, as well as clients using QuickBooks. She is conscientious, professional, and especially hard-working. Clients praise her thoroughness and attention to detail. They appreciate how working with Lynn eliminates their stress when dealing with tax matters and meeting deadlines.
